  This is a very poor product for all of the reasons described in the various reviews and more. I have given one star for poor under duress as the system does not let the reviewer give zero stars which would be my true rating. Under no circumstances would I recommend buying a Supervac 1000. I purchased mine at the Ideal Home Show in London on 1 April 2019 for £45. I assembled and tested it and then on the first proper use it overheated and stopped working, and the brush broke off the small attachment. I was also unimpressed that the floor cleaner attachments do no skim the floor when vacuuming at a lower angle, i.e, under the bed and other furniture, but instead sit at an upward angle making it ineffective for this job. I emailed the address provided on this page ([email protected]) on 13th April requesting to return it but received no response. I carried on using it and it has developed further problems, whilst still overheating and cutting out. The long handle is loose and wobbly, and one of the vents has started to come off the side. I have sent another email but have received no response to that either. If you are in the market for a stick vacuum cleaner, do yourself a favour and do not buy the Supervac 1000. Buy from a reputable company that will behave ethically and does not really on sales at exhibitions where unsuspecting buyers cant return the products. There’s good reason that it has received such bad reviews on this site.
